JP Riemens has been active in the Canadian music community for decades. He comes from the "old school" when bands toured endlessly, played 6 nights a week, while honing their craft in clubs throughout Canada.

Settling in Hamilton, Ontario, JP and his band, The Fabulous Barflies, quickly became part of the vibrant music scene, exclusively playing his own brand of original music.His Songwriter Showcase shows in Hamilton are legendary and span over two decades.

Currently residing in Harley, Ontario, JP's solo show excels, with an inexhaustible catalog of original songs in a style that has been described as the soul of John Prine with the edge of Tom Petty, wrapped up in a mighty serving of original Canadiana.
